Chocolateria Dulce Mujer is a venture initiated by Ricardo Trillos of Cao Chocolates in 2022. Formed by a group of five Colombian women who have faced political and security challenges with guerrilla groups, experienced personal loss, and embraced a courageous decision to master the art of transforming their homegrown cacao beans into exquisite chocolate.
Acting as their mentor, Ricardo guides them through every step, from cocoa bean to finished product, while also providing invaluable support in crafting business and marketing strategies.
This initiative is a way of giving back to the our cacao community and supporting farmers.
A portion of every sale contributes to this project, aiming to empower these women and make a positive impact not just in their lives but also within their community.
