Years ago, Cao Chocolates turned the love for this irresistible sweet into a business. We are chocolate artisans who have learned the art and science of turning a humble heap of cacao beans into a luscious chocolate truffle.
We established our business in 2008 and we are very proud to see our business growing very fast thanks to all our loyal clients who can customize our truffles and presentation for any occasion. |
From Accounting to Chocolates
I moved to the United States from my home country of Venezuela in 2004, looking for new opportunities to grow both personally and professionally. An accountant by trade, my professional life quickly flourished, and I was soon comfortably settled in my new South Florida home. Meanwhile, my conscience enjoyed reminding me of a lacking personal fulfillment, and before too long, my yearning and a stewing passion for the rich, succulent chocolate of Venezuela would inspire my inner chocolatier.
After years of loving everything about chocolates, the passion turned into a hobby and I decided to go beyond and purchase books, besides attending any chocolate making classes available in the area. Working in accounting during the day and making chocolates at night and on weekends as a hobby is how I was spending most of my time, until one of the many life changes I’ve had happened, and I decided to take this hobby to another level and make my dream a reality, acquiring more training, education and dedication.

I believe the best way I can describe my business is being lucky enough to have great people supporting us and inspiring me to create great chocolates for them. As an entrepreneur, I cannot express how thankful we are to have received so much great feedback about our creations, and all of you who know us well can be sure this is only the beginning of our dream.
